Alice in Wonderland Film Screening and Analysis
The film Alice in Wonderland was first screened and then thoroughly analyzed from a psychological perspective in a joint event organized by the Psychology and Cinema Clubs.

In collaboration between the Psychology Club and the Cinema Club, the Alice in Wonderland Film Screening and Analysis event was held in two stages on April 21–22, 2025. The event aimed to bridge cinema and psychology by re-evaluating a fantastical universe familiar from childhood through an adult perspective.

On the first day, April 21, participants watched Alice in Wonderland together, embarking on a whimsical and thought-provoking journey. The film screening created a nostalgic yet reflective atmosphere. On April 22, during the second session, the film was analyzed through a psychological lens under the moderation of Psychologist Asude Zeynep Erbay and Psychologist Sevde Karakuş, invited by the Psychology Club.

During the analysis session, the film’s characters, symbols, and plot were interpreted through psychological concepts such as the subconscious, identity search, perception of reality, repressed emotions, and childhood stages. Participants explored the meanings behind the film’s metaphors and contributed their own perspectives to the discussion.
