Our School's Archery and Equestrian Club organized a meaningful training session on November 5, 2025, to introduce students to archery, one of the traditional sports, and to help them develop their skills in this field. The Archery Training event, held in the Sports Courses - Training category, met with intense interest from participants. Archery, which held strategic importance in history and is also considered an art form, not only offered students a physical activity but also provided an opportunity to develop critical mental skills such as focus, patience, and body control. Throughout the training, students learned the intricacies of drawing the bow, aiming, and shooting techniques under the guidance of professional instructors.
The main purpose of the event was to support students' personal development through sports and introduce them to the sports heritage of different cultures. Archery and Equestrian Club officials stated that because archery requires the discipline of locking onto a target, it positively contributes to students' academic success and daily concentration. The training, held in a safe and controlled environment, allowed participants to both have an enjoyable time and gain a new skill. Following this successful training, the Club announced that it will continue to organize similar training programs to increase interest in traditional sports.
