Organized by the Psychology Club in collaboration with the Psychology Department, the event “Article Autopsy 2: Writing a Meaningful Introduction and Literature Review” held on April 21, 2025, aimed to enhance undergraduate students’ academic writing skills. The program focused particularly on the process of preparing the introduction section and literature review, which are fundamental components of scientific article writing in psychology.
During the event, students learned how to structure a meaningful introductory paragraph and which elements to emphasize when connecting to research questions. Attention was also given to techniques for accessing reliable sources, using academic language correctly, and relating to previous studies in the literature review.
With practical explanations and example texts, the session supported students in gaining confidence in academic writing. By the end of the program, participants left equipped with practical methods they can apply in their own research writing.
