As part of the opening session of the “Ma‘rifah” program organized by the Arabic Club at Ibn Haldun University, the event titled “Why Are We Here? The Philosophy of the University and the Question of Knowledge” was held on April 15, 2026.

Together with our students, the program was conducted based on the work Comparative Theories, addressing fundamental intellectual questions such as the philosophy of knowledge, how knowledge is formed, and the relationship between Muslims and Western thought. Under the guidance of Nasr Al-Kumaim, an expert in the field, participants were actively engaged in the process of intellectual production.

In a warm and interactive atmosphere, our students had the opportunity to engage in conceptual discussions introducing them to the world of thought, listen to different perspectives, and develop their academic understanding. The program provided a productive academic experience, contributing to participants’ development of a more critical and reflective approach to knowledge.
