As the Ibn Haldun University Theater Club, we perceive acting as an art that goes beyond mere imitation or performance, aiming to reflect reality and enhance awareness through our practice!
Have you ever noticed how you walk? Or how you hold a cup while drinking tea, or how you take the first sip? All the actions we perform in a day actually happen without us being consciously aware of them. When we pause for a second and think, we say, "How am I really doing this?" and sometimes, when we deliberately want to do something, a natural movement doesn't emerge. This is where theater comes into play. From the moment we step onto the stage, we must be aware of everything we do. This awareness forms the basis of acting. As the Ibn Haldun University Theater Club family, we view acting not merely as imitation or play but as an art that reflects reality and enhances awareness, and we strive to practice it as such!
