As part of the “Exploring Istanbul Through Its Külliyes” Program, organized through the collaboration of the İHÜ Department of Culture, Arts, and Sports and the Travel Club, a cultural visit to the Eyüp Sultan Külliye was held on 6 December 2025.
Within the scope of the program, students had the opportunity to examine the Eyüp Sultan Külliye—one of the significant examples of Ottoman architecture and urban planning—on site. During the visit, which was conducted under the guidance of an expert, comprehensive information was provided about the külliye’s history, architectural features, and social functions.
The event contributed to students’ closer engagement with Istanbul’s historical and cultural heritage. It was also noted that, as part of the program, students were academically and culturally supported through reading and presentation activities focusing on külliyes.
