The Güllaç Making Workshop, organized by the Handicrafts and Skills Club on March 7, 2026, was held as a special event within the scope of the Ramadan Culinary Workshops Series, bringing students together with traditional Ramadan flavors. As the second event of the workshop series, which aims to combine the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan with the culture of sharing, producing, and spending time together, participants had the opportunity to learn the preparation stages of güllaç, one of the indispensable desserts of Ramadan tables.
Throughout the workshop, students experienced the process of preparing güllaç step by step and prepared this traditional dessert with their own hands. During the event, where tips such as the correct use of ingredients, the preparation of güllaç layers, and presentation techniques were shared, participants had the opportunity to both improve their culinary skills and closely explore a dessert unique to the Ramadan tradition.
The workshop was open to participants of all levels and aimed to involve students in the culinary production process without requiring any prior knowledge. Offering students the opportunity to experience one of the traditional Ramadan desserts, the event took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere reflecting the spirit of Ramadan, contributing to students’ enjoyment of creating together and sharing cultural values.
