IHU Family Workshop Report Launch Program

The outputs of the "Family in the Century of Turkey" themed Student Workshop, held as part of the "IHU Student Workshops for a Century" organized by the Directorate of Arts, Culture, and Sports at Ibn Haldun University, will be shared with the public and relevant stakeholders at the launch program.

The launch will begin with opening speeches by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ibn Haldun University, Mr. Prof. Dr. İrfan Gündüz, Vice President Mr. N. Bilal Erdoğan, and Rector Mr. Prof. Dr. Atilla Arkan.

The event will be attended by public institution managers, university representatives, students, NGOs, private sector representatives, and experts in the field. During the program, the workshop findings and developed recommendations will be shared, and the prepared report will be made accessible to the public.

The report, prepared with the participation of 100 students from different faculties, departments, and class levels, addresses the fundamental values of the family structure, the risks it faces, and potential solutions; it also offers actionable recommendations for institutions. Developed using the "brainstorming" method, this study aims to contribute to strengthening the family institution from a student perspective and provide a solution-oriented approach to current issues.

The IHU Family Workshop Report is a work that centers the perspectives of young people and aims to provide unique contributions to the field of family studies.
