Ibn Haldun University (IHU) created an important discussion platform with the "Family in the Century of Turkey" themed event, which was held for the second time this year within the scope of the "Yüzyıla Değer Student Workshops." The workshop, considering the success and participant interest from the previous year, provided students with an opportunity to generate alternative solutions to societal issues.
This year’s event aimed to delve deeper into the concept of family in line with the vision of "Turkey's Century." Participants developed different perspectives to strengthen the family institution and rebuild the foundations of healthy relationships.
The workshop was conducted with the participation of 100 IHU students from various faculties, departments, and academic levels, adopting an interdisciplinary approach. The participants presented solution proposals to three main questions using the "Brainstorming" technique:
The outputs gathered from the workshop were compiled into a comprehensive report and shared with relevant institutions.
It is anticipated that this event, focused on the theme of "Family in the Century of Turkey," will be an important step in raising university students' awareness of societal responsibility and contributing to the strengthening of the family institution.
