Features and Facilities Of Dormitories 

Located within the Ibn Haldun University Campus, there exist dormitory accommodations tailored to both male and female students, capable of housing a total of 743 individuals, with 361 rooms designated for female students and 382 for their male counterparts.

The dormitory quarters are meticulously designed to accommodate three students per room, ensuring a private bathroom for each room and equipping them with mini-fridges to enhance the residents' convenience and comfort. The welfare of students is a paramount consideration, evident not only in the individual rooms but also in the dormitory's comprehensive facilities.

Within the confines of the dormitory buildings, dedicated areas for study, relaxation, socialization, and cultural activities are thoughtfully integrated. Furthermore, a well-stocked library is accessible to students. Additionally, female students can access aerobic studios, while male students have access to fitness gyms, and hobby kitchens are provided for the convenience of all residents.

In close proximity to the dormitory buildings, expansive outdoor facilities are available for student utilization, including a football field, a basketball court, and a tennis court, all designed to cater to the recreational needs of the student body.

Moreover, the dormitory program extends its offerings to include a diverse range of workshops tailored to students' preferences and organizes a variety of social and cultural events aimed at enhancing the overall student experience.

Applicatıon And Evaluation Process

  • Dormitory applications will be made online through the www.turgev.org website.
  • Students who have not previously stayed in TÜRGEV dormitories must create their accounts by selecting a username and password on the www.turgev.org website. After registration, their educational information can be completed in the profile section, and they will be able to apply for campus dormitories through the system.
  • Students who have registered in previous periods need to update their records and apply again.
  • Applicants will undergo preliminary evaluation through an online interview via Zoom.
  • After the preliminary evaluation, main and backup lists will be created based on established criteria.
  • Application results will be communicated to the students via SMS.

Payment Process

  • Those who wish to make a one-time payment can make their payment to the account with IBAN TR85 0020 3000 1542 6025 0000 40 at Albaraka Türk Participation Bank under the name of "Türkiye Gençlik ve Eğitime Hizmet Vakfı" (Turkey Youth and Education Service Foundation). A 5% discount is applied to dormitory fees for upfront payments.
  • Those who wish to make installment payments must open an account at Albaraka Katılım Bankası for the purpose of the student's dues payment and sign an "Automatic Collection Agreement" with the bank.
  • The deposit fee is determined by the dormitory. During registration, it should be deposited into the account with IBAN TR58 0020 3000 1542 6025 0000 41 at Albaraka Türk Participation Bank under the name of "Türkiye Gençlik ve Eğitime Hizmet Vakfı İktisadi İşletmesi" (Turkey Youth and Education Service Foundation Economic Enterprise). The deposit fee also covers dormitory scholarship students. If the student graduates or wishes to leave the dormitory at the end of the academic year, provided that they have not caused any damage to any property, the deposit fee will be refunded to them

Registration Process

  • For final registration, the required documents must be uploaded to the TÜRGEV system within the specified date range.
  • For backup registrations, if there are vacancies in the dormitory after the completion of the main list registrations, students on the backup list will be informed of the order, and they must complete their registration processes by the specified date, just like in the main registration process.

Important Information

  • To benefit from dormitory facilities, the student must be actively enrolled in classes for each semester.
  • Applications of students with outstanding dormitory fees will not be considered.
  • Students wishing to register for dormitories must accept TÜRGEV's dormitory accommodation conditions.
