The piano course, launched in early November 2025 in coordination with our university's Department of Arts, Culture, and Sports and the Music Club, has completed its first term with great interest from students across various departments.
The educational process began with large group sessions where all participants studied technical subjects such as basic music theory and the "circle of fifths," subsequently transitioning into small practice groups tailored to the students' interests and proficiency levels. Supported by creative and motivation-oriented methods like the "piano test," the lessons emphasized hand coordination, music literacy, and ensemble playing, fostering both technical development and the students' social interaction and psychological well-being. This innovative program, in which a vast majority maintained consistent attendance from day one, and those attending more than 70% of the sessions were awarded certificates of participation, will continue in the spring semester with a call for new applications.
