Orientation Days 2026

New Students Come Together at IHU Orientation Days 2026

IHU Orientation Days 2026, organized for the undergraduate and graduate students joining the Ibn Haldun University family in the 2026-2027 academic year, took place on our campus on 15-16 September 2026. Designed to help our students adapt to university life and make a strong start, the two-day program featured a rich and colorful range of activities.

“A Strong Start to University Life”

Within the orientation program, our new students had the opportunity to get to know our university, their faculties and the departments in which they will study. Participants met our faculty members and senior students and received comprehensive information on the academic resources, campus facilities and services our university offers. The “IHU 101 Course” and department meetings, among the academic steps of the program, supported our students’ adaptation process.

Dinner and VR Experience at Başakşehir Municipality

During the orientation days, which focused on social as well as academic integration, our Student Clubs introduced their cultural, artistic and sports activities and social responsibility projects at their stands. Unit presentations were followed by an enjoyable Kahoot competition. At the end of the first day, a special dinner was hosted by Başakşehir Municipality. After dinner, our students visited the municipality’s VR Center and had a great time with the virtual reality experience.

Bosphorus Tour and Closing

Another highlight that brought our students closer together and created unforgettable moments was the Bosphorus Tour by ferry. At the end of two packed days, students who attended the entire program were presented with the “IHU Welcome Gift Pack”. IHU Orientation Days 2026 concluded with a closing ceremony in which surprise gifts were given out through a raffle.
