Organized in collaboration between the Social Responsibility Club and Green Crescent (Yeşilay), the program titled “An Independent Future Guided by Women” was held on March 8, 2026, as a significant gathering for social awareness. The event featured Derya Kahraman, President of the Green Crescent Başakşehir Women’s Commission, who shared insights on the critical role of women in combating addiction and preventive measures.
During the program, the guiding position of women within the family and society in building a healthy community was emphasized. Ms. Kahraman highlighted the importance of social consciousness in preventing addiction while sharing Green Crescent’s ongoing activities in this field. The event, followed with great interest by students, concluded with an interactive Q&A session.
The Social Responsibility Club stated that through this meaningful program, they aimed to raise awareness among youth regarding addiction and strengthen the sense of social responsibility.
