On Tuesday, May 13, 2025, the Debate Club brought both thought-provoking and entertaining energy to the campus with its “End-of-Year Debate Showcase Match.” Held near the close of the academic term, the event aimed to promote debate culture and encourage critical thinking among students.
The main topic of the program was built around the provocative statement: “As a private university, the government chooses to adopt and openly promote an ideology.” Two teams argued for and against the motion, presenting compelling arguments and sharp comparisons that offered the audience a vivid and engaging debate experience.
In the second part of the event, an open mic session was held, allowing attendees to share their thoughts, suggestions, and critiques on the topic. This created a dynamic platform where both verbal expression skills and the intellectual richness of the social sciences were brought to life—enabling students to voice their perspectives freely in a stimulating environment.
