Historian Writer Dursun Gürlek met with our students within the scope of Istanbul Talks. In the interview that took place at the Süleymaniye Campus Dârülkrâ Madrasa, Gürlek talked about the importance of Istanbul from history to the present. Emphasizing that Istanbul has important towns in itself, Dursun Gülek stated that these are Eyüp, Üsküdar and Galata. He stated that Galata is a historical district from the Genoese, Eyüp is a district with high spirituality due to Ebu Eyyüp El Ensari, and Üsküdar is the city of Hanım Sultans.
