The Event Planning Training, organized by the Social Research and Thought Club on May 7, 2025, was conducted as a hands-on program aimed at developing participants’ organizational skills. The training sought to empower university students to take more active roles in club and community activities.
Led by Salih Özüduruk, Head of the Arts, Culture, and Sports Department at Ibn Haldun University, the sessions covered all stages of event management in detail—from the initial idea and planning phases to task delegation and promotional strategies. Participants gained practical knowledge on team coordination, time management, budget planning, and problem-solving during crises.
Thanks to this comprehensive training, students acquired essential skills and competencies to confidently manage their own projects and enhance their event management capabilities.
