A trip to Edirne, one of the frontier cities that served as the capital of the Ottoman Empire., was organized by Art, Culture and Sports Department of Ibn Haldun University. Historical places of Edirne, especially Selimiye Mosque, Complex of Sultan Bayezid II Health Museum, Üç Şerefeli Mosque, Murad II Bazaar, and Great Synagogue were visited in our tour guided by our History Department Lecturer Prof Dr. Suraiya Faroqhi, one of the most important Ottoman historians in the world.
