The "Informatics and Educational Technologies Club" organized a cultural trip titled “Exploring the History of Turkish Education in Süleymaniye” on October 22, 2025, stepping beyond the ordinary. Club members had the opportunity to study firsthand the development of the Turkish education system and methods of knowledge transmission from past to present within the historic madrasas and spaces of the Süleymaniye Complex. This event offered a unique perspective on the roots of technology and education.
During the trip, students observed how knowledge was produced and disseminated hundreds of years ago. Through this organization, the Informatics and Educational Technologies Club aimed not only to focus members on the technologies of the future but also to help them develop a critical perspective on contemporary pedagogical approaches by understanding the deep history of education. The event made a significant contribution to the participants’ cultural and intellectual development.
