The talk event organized by the Literature Club started after the screening of a short film called 'Istanbul Memories'. Turkish story and novel writer Güray Süngü made students laugh with his colorful personality. Stating that it was the Grand Bazaar that brought him together with literature, Süngü shared important points from his life with the students. In his speech, Güray Süngü said that he compared a prolific writer to someone who is drowning and struggling. Süngü, then "Which stone crushed you, your taste is so good?" he added.
The interview, moderated by Ubeydullah Erdoğan, continued with questions from the students. Güray Süngü about the works he wrote, "You were not there when I wrote this work. I write as I wish, without worrying about making anyone like this work." He talked briefly about the writing process. Emphasizing that the most beautiful work of man is himself, Güray Süngü expressed that he is trying to reach the "me" he wants and said that literature is his companion for this.
