Ibn Haldun University wrestling team participated in the Turkish Universities Wrestling Championship held at Pamukkale University Sports Hall.
The competition was organized with the participation of 58 universities from different regions of Turkey. In the championship, Emir Özmen, 63 kg, Omran S. M. Abedalkader, 67 kg, Eyüp Ensar Aktaş, 87 kg, represented our university in Greco-Roman style, while Kamal Khurshudov, 70 kg and Habib Barut, 79 kg, represented our university in the freestyle competition.
Ibn Haldun University Rector, who was in Denizli for the Inter-University Board meeting on the same dates. Dr. Recep Şentürk also came together with the wrestling team and gave morale to the athletes.
