The Department of Art, Culture, and Sports (SKS) organized the İHÜ Morning Gatherings event at the historical Ortaköy Mosque on Sunday, October 05, 2025, to support the spiritual and social development of its students. Students convened at the mosque, which boasts a unique view of Istanbul, and started their day by performing the congregational morning prayer, creating a meaningful and peaceful atmosphere. The event offered students a much-needed opportunity to focus on spiritual values amid the intense pace of academic life, helping them find mental calm and inner peace.
Immediately following the prayer, a brief informal talk and light refreshments allowed students to form closer social bonds and experience spiritual solidarity with one another. The SKS Department demonstrated its commitment to adding a different dimension to university life and supporting students' multifaceted development through such cultural and spiritually-focused activities. The Morning Gatherings at Ortaköy Mosque were highly appreciated by the participants and once again emphasized the importance of spiritual camaraderie.
