On April 19, 2025, the Cinema Club organized a trip to the Istanbul Film Festival, one of Turkey’s most established cinematic events, offering students the opportunity to experience the spirit of the festival firsthand. As part of the festival program, which took place simultaneously in various theaters across Istanbul, participants attended selected screenings and immersed themselves in the vibrant festival atmosphere.
The event provided cinema enthusiasts with a chance to engage with contemporary film productions and explore the perspectives of directors from different parts of the world. In addition to watching the films, participants also joined post-screening talks and panel discussions, gaining not only visual experiences but also a deeper intellectual engagement with the art of cinema.
