On December 8, 2025, the Psychology Club invited students to explore the scientific world of emotions at an event titled "The Neuropsychology of Emotions." The program aimed to explain, in an understandable and academic framework, how basic emotions, particularly love, are formed in the brain, the neurological processes involved, and how these processes influence our behavior. Throughout the event, participants gained a comprehensive perspective on the biological foundations of emotions by examining current research at the intersection of neuroscience and psychology.
Topics such as the chemical processes triggered by love in the brain, attachment mechanisms, their effects on decision-making behavior, and the relationship between emotional experiences and personality development were discussed in detail. The session aimed not only to provide students with academic knowledge but also to increase their own emotional awareness. Enriched with scientific content, applicable examples, and an interactive question-and-answer session, the event concluded as a fruitful and inspiring experience for all participants interested in the field of psychology.
