Traditional clothes and items were exhibited in Turkish tents set up on campus. Semeni decoration and egg painting activities, which are Nevruz traditions, were held. Horse riding and archery events were organized. After iftar, tea and treats from Uyghur cuisine were served in the tents.
The event ended with an enjoyable evening where Dede Korkut stories were told to the accompaniment of the kopuz around the Nevruz fire and master dombra player Arslanbek Sultanbekov sang traditional Turkish music songs.
