Led by the Turkish Culture and History Research Club, and with the participation of various student clubs, the Nevruz Festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm on March 21, 2025. Held under the theme “Spring and Turkish Traditions Festival,” the program marked the arrival of spring while honoring traditional practices rooted in ancient Turkish culture.
Throughout the event, symbolic elements of the Nevruz tradition—such as forging iron, egg tapping, and gathering around a fire—were featured. These activities gave participants the opportunity to engage closely with the historical values of Turkish culture.
The spirit of Nevruz, symbolizing peace, hope, and renewal, came to life on campus through strong student interest and participation. The event provided both an educational and enjoyable atmosphere, contributing to the transmission of traditional culture to younger generations.
