Organized by the Archery and Equestrian Club on April 20, 2025, the Nişantepe Forest Park Trip offered students a chance to connect with nature while engaging with traditional sports that are an integral part of cultural heritage. Held in one of Istanbul’s scenic natural areas, the event provided an active, enjoyable, and educational experience.
Throughout the day, students took part in hands-on activities such as tug of war, horseback riding, and archery—longstanding sports rooted in Turkish tradition. These activities not only promoted physical movement but also contributed to the development of teamwork, focus, and self-confidence.
Participants had the opportunity to learn about the historical and cultural background of these traditional sports while enjoying time in nature. The event maintained a spirit of both friendly competition and camaraderie from start to finish.
