The "Tree of Life Project" supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports carried out by Ibn Haldun University Social Responsibility Club has ended. The project which aims to make a positive contribution to the treatment processes of the children by planning games and activities in order to will spend quality time with them was held at Başakşehir State Hospital. Within the scope of the project, the members, who take care of the children in Başakşehir State Hospital and carried out activities that will increase their morale.
The members, who stated that they would continue to take care of the children even though the project was officially completed, briefly explained the story of the project as follows:
“We continue at full speed with the Tree of Life project carried out by the Social Responsibility Club. After the 3-day training with 20 of our volunteer friends, we started the design of the room we determined in the hospital. With the devoted work of our teammates, we have designed a playroom for children with the concept of day and night. Our friends spend quality time with the children in Başakşehir State Hospital for 2 hours every weekday in teams of 4 people. On average, we take care of 15 children a day. The ministry leg of our project ended on March 1, but we as volunteers will continue until the end of the term.
