The Ankara Trip event organized by the Law Club had a comprehensive calendar that introduced the students of our University to the three powers of the state, known as the legislative, executive and judiciary. The Turkish Grand National Assembly was visited as the first stop on the Ankara trip. Informed by an expert guide, our students had the opportunity to visit the General Assembly Hall and the Parliament Building. The trip continued with a visit to the Justice Academy of Turkey, accompanied by Instructors Prosecutor Ersel Aslan and Judge Seyfullah Sarıgül, who gave valuable information to our students about their profession.
During his visit to the Ministry of Justice, an interview was held with the participation of Deputy Minister Hasan Yılmaz. During the visit to the Constitutional Court, a conversation was held in which the importance of an independent, impartial and fair judiciary was emphasized. The officials, who came together and had a conversation with our students in order to gain this mission, answered the questions asked and shared their experiences. At the Presidential Complex, which was recently visited, our students were hosted by the Presidential Private Secretary, Hasan Doğan. Information about the library was obtained in the Presidential Library in the complex, accompanied by guides. In addition, for our students, who had the opportunity to examine the scissors collection used by our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in more than 800 openings, one of the most meaningful pieces of the collection was the scissors and ribbon used at the opening of Ibn Haldun University.
