Our School's Nature Sports Club brought students together in Polonezköy, one of Istanbul's significant natural heritages, through a special event that merged the passion for nature and photography. This event, named "Photo-Trekking," offered students the opportunity for both physical activity and artistic expression amidst the unique beauties of Polonezköy. During the trek on forest paths adorned with all the warm and vibrant colors of autumn, participants immortalized the scenes, details, and moments offered by nature through their camera lenses. This activity aimed to help young people relax in the fresh air and develop awareness towards nature.
Throughout the event, students progressed on a safe trail accompanied by professional guides, while also gaining practical knowledge about nature photography techniques. With such activities, the Nature Sports Club aims to develop students' not only sports skills but also their observation capabilities and aesthetic perception. At the end of this productive and enjoyable day spent in Polonezköy, unforgettable memories were collected, and the connection with nature was strengthened. Following the intense interest from nature-loving students, the Club promised to organize new excursions with similar concepts in the future.
