On November 19, 2025, the Perspective and Photography Club hosted Ercan Arslan, an experienced professional in the world of photography, as part of the Basic Photography course, offering students an inspiring learning environment. Arslan, who served for many years as a Photojournalist and Photo Editor at Milliyet Newspaper, shared his expertise in documentary photography, discussing the nuances of the profession, challenges encountered in the field, and the fundamental principles of effective storytelling.
Participants had the opportunity to see firsthand that photography is not only a technical skill but also a powerful tool for expression and observation, drawing on Arslan’s professional experience.
