The “Student Workshop Worth the Century” report, organized by Ibn Haldun University and held in honor of Turkey’s centennial year, has been published. The workshop aimed to identify the qualities university students should possess from the perspective of the “Century of Turkey,” discuss how these suggestions can be implemented within the university, and debate these through applied examples.
The workshop, attended by 100 students, formed 17 working groups and used the 6-3-5 brainstorming technique, evaluating a total of 5508 ideas and suggestions. As a result of the workshop, 111 values were identified. The report, prepared in light of the data obtained and studies in the literature, is intended to be presented to relevant educators, local governments, and policymakers.
The report is expected to make significant contributions to the development of young generations and the country’s progress in the next century of Turkey.
