The Spring Festival, organized for the third time this year by the Department of Arts, Culture and Sports, was held on May 26-27, 2022 at the Başakşehir Complex of Ibn Haldun University. During the two-day festival, visitors had the opportunity to participate in various activities designed according to the themes of our clubs in the student club tents, and they had the opportunity to experience artistic activities such as marbling, glass painting, wood painting and stone painting in the design tents. In addition, many activities such as food and beverage stands, fun games and kite flying were offered to our participants.
During the festival, between 18.00 and 00.00 on both days, our participants had a pleasant time with the stage shows. On both days of the festival, entertaining games were played on the stage between 18.00 and 19.00 with the audience. On the first day of the festival, the stage performances continued with the “IHU Music Year-End Concert” performed by the participants of our music courses that continue throughout the year. Then, at the award ceremony held on the stage, our students who ranked in the sports tournaments throughout the year received their awards. The award ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Başakşehir and Member of the Board of Trustees of our University Yasin Kartoğlu, our Rector Prof. Dr. Atilla Arkan and our secretary general Sebahattin Belik and Deputy Secretary General Turgut Aydın also attended and presented awards. The stage performances continued with a wonderful concert given by the World Record Holder Piano Artist Muhammed Yıldırır and his team. On the second day, the stage activities included an improvised play called Fanus by our Theater Club, an interview with Serdar Gökalp, and a Karaoke show organized by our Music Club. Unforgettable moments were experienced at the karaoke game, where some of the staff members as well as the students of our university took the stage. The closing of the Spring Festival took place with the Alper Çam concert.
