Representing an important milestone in Turkey's centenary, the workshop aimed to determine how our deep-rooted civilization vision and rich cultural heritage should be reflected in the "Turkey’s Century" perspective and was held accordingly.
The workshop aims to determine the characteristics that university students should have and focus on how these suggestions can be implemented within the university. In the workshop, which was held with the participation of 100 Ibn Haldun University students, 17 working groups were formed and answers to the following questions were sought using the 6-3-5 brainstorming technique:
1836 ideas and suggestions emerged regarding each question, and a total of 5508 ideas and suggestions were evaluated. All ideas were interpreted by artificial intelligence and students and presented in the final.
At the end of the program, 5 people were given smart watches as gifts through a raffle among the participants. Participation certificates were presented to all students who participated in the program, and the workshop was added to the social transcripts of our participating students.
The data obtained from the workshop and the studies in the literature will be examined, and a report including statistical results will be prepared and shared with relevant educators, local governments and policy makers. It is expected that this report will make significant contributions to the upbringing of young generations and the development of the country in the next century of Turkey.
